Mud Lubricated Bearing Assemblies

Our Mud Lubricated Bearing Assemblies are custom designed and manufactured to maximize the load carrying capacity and life. Each Bearing Assembly is made up of multiple rows of high contact angle, high precision, bi-directional angular contact bearing sets. They are designed to withstand the harshest of downhole drilling conditions. The bearing raceways are designed with a special contour that allows for optimum contact between the balls and the raceway for the life of the bearing.

Even as the assembly wears, the optimum contact is maintained. The races are machined from bearing grade steel that is case hardened, hard machined, and polished to provide maximum surface hardness and wear resistance with excellent impact resistance. The combination of case hardened bearing grade steel and special raceway contours ensure maximum run life and avoids problems such as cracked races and sheared balls.
